With exceptional character and validity limited to one month, due to the state of alarm for the management of the health crisis situation before COVID-19, or until the last day of the month in which said state of alarm ends (if it continues for more one month), the self-employed whose activities are suspended by virtue of the provisions of Royal Decree 463/2020 of March 14, or when their turnover in the month prior to which the benefit is requested is reduced by at least one 75% of the average billing for the previous semester, will be entitled to the extraordinary benefit for cessation of activity, provided that the following are met
- REQUIREMENTS:
- Be affiliated and registered in Social Security at the date of the declaration of the state of alarm.
- It is not necessary to have coverage for cessation of self-employed activity.
- It is not necessary that the self-employed worker withdraw from his activity (Model 036 or 037).
- Be up-to-date with their Social Security obligations (if they are not, they will be invited to pay).
- Any self-employed person whose activity has been suspended due to Royal Decree 346/2020 or whose turnover has been reduced by 75% may request it.
- If they have workers in charge, they must carry out an ERTE and, in addition, request the cessation of activity.
The AMOUNT of the benefit will be determined by applying 70% of the regulatory base. When the minimum contribution period is not accredited, the amount of the benefit will be equivalent to 70% of the minimum contribution base in the Self-Employed Regime.
The DURATION of this extraordinary benefit will be one month, extending until the last day of the month in which the alarm state ends, if applicable.
The perception of this benefit will be incompatible with any other Social Security benefit.
